Please contact me to discuss your ideas. Turn around time can be 8-10 weeks from the time I receive your garments. In our first contact I will let you know what my current turn around time is based on the orders I have waiting.
It is only to show what memory quilts I have made and to give you ideas for your own memory quilt. Clothing from your family is what makes your memory quilt; t-shirts, sports jerseys, flannel shirts, jeans and baby clothes all make great memories.
Since these quilts are custom and take more time to make than other quilts they are priced accordingly. The more detail you want in your quilt requires more time to create that and the price will change. I send photos and have open communication with my customers thru out the process.
The garments you send are disassembled the t-shirt designs are fussy-cut to take advantage of the full design. T-shirt and knit fabrics are stabilized with a lightweight iron on interfacing. The quilt is laid out on my design wall where I take photos and send to you, the customer, so you can see the work in process and if needed get approval for changes.
Since my quilts are reversible while sewing the front together I am thinking about a complimentary back design. That idea is then sent to you for approval.
This listing price is a DEPOSIT towards the final price of your quilt.
