Bright flower garden vintage quilt measures 72x84. Twin size quilt perfect to dress up that little girls bed.

This vintage/bright blocks quilt top was sourced from Tennessee. The quilt top was machine pieced from solids and vintage prints that look like a flower garden. After quilting and washing/drying it finished out at 72" x 84", twin size, which is the ideal size for that little girls bed you have been wanting to refresh. This quilt is butter soft and ready to use.

I am drawn to older quilts and found this quilt top that needed to become a finished quilt. I have been buying quilt tops for the past several years with the goal of finishing them. Snuggling under or using a vintage/antique quilt as home decor is my goal for all of these quilt tops. Some of them I will be keeping for myself (as if I NEED more quilts) others I will be selling for others to enjoy.

Before quilting I ironed the top inspecting all seams, repairing and reinforcing any that were loose. I chose a new cotton cross hatch or weave print in a beautiful royal blue. This was perfect since the quilt blocks looks almost floral.

Design -
Front:: pieced solid fabrics along with vintage prints in blocks that look like a flower garden

Back:: royal blue/white crosshatch or weave cotton print.

Quilting :: is done with a computerized pattern on my Gammill Elevate longarm quilter with white cotton quilting thread.

Binding :: double layered royal/navy mottle print that has been machine stitched.

Batting :: Hobbs 80/20 cotton/poly batting.

This quilt has been machine washed/dried so that those lovely cottons tighten up even more giving you that cozy quilted effect that will cover you and your family in comfort.
