echo quilt #44
This reversible quilt makes a nice baby shower gift, housewarming gift, wedding gift, hostess gift, great for the office worker who is always cold sitting at her desk. Looks wonderful thrown over the back of a chair or sofa.
I've sold many of these quilts in all sizes and color ranges as they go with modern, homespun and farmhouse decor.
This quilt is made from vintage prints, remnants, recycled and new fabrics.
Design -
Front:: pieced with framed 5" squares in shades of gray, yellow and blues.
Back:: is a Robert Kaufmann print of gray lines forming a diamond print on a cream background.
Sashing:: is solid gray poly/cotton.
Quilting:: is done in a straight line pattern on my Gammill longarm quilter with a gray cotton quilting thread so that it blends in with the beautiful shades of gray solids.
Binding:: double layered floral and polka dot cotton print in shades of blue, gray and cream.
Batting :: Hobbs 80/20 cotton/poly batting has been used.
This quilt can be machine washed in cold water and machine dried on cool so that those lovely cottons tighten up even more giving you that cozy quilted effect that will cover you and your family in comfort.
NOTE:: since some of these materials are new please be sure to wash the quilt seperately and with a "color catcher" for the first couple of washes to catch any possible release of fabric dye/color.
If you would like a quilt similar to this one but in a different size please convo me and we can work on the details.
This quilt is shipped 1st class insured to US addresses. If being shipped international I ship the least expensive postage, since I am not able to insure international packages once it leaves my local post office you and your postal service become responsible for it's safe delivery. I have not had a problem yet with any of my international shipments.

From my farmhouse to yours……….well not exactly a farmhouse but I do have a dog a cat and a dozen chickens on my 3 acres out in the country, so I can imagine that I’m in “my farmhouse”.
I have a photo hanging in my sewing room of my Grandma Lena hand quilting a quilt in her farmhouse and sometimes I do imagine living my life in her era while I am machine piecing and machine quilting my quilts. I hope that my attention to detail comes home to you with the quilt so that you can enjoy your own “farmhouse” where ever you happen to call home.
